The Artist
BRENDA BASHAM DOTHAGE
Brenda’s art features original Acrylic paintings, Oil paintings and Poetry-paintings that blend BOLD colors and texture in abstract form. Her work is more of a complex illustration where the colors themselves convey profuse meaning and not a literal representation of the subject matter.
Brenda has never taken an art class, which perhaps has left her art free of preconceived ideas. In fact, every work has a spontaneous quality that sprouts from her innate talent and approach.
